About exemption cards...

  • Exemption cards are only available for registered teachers and police officers in Queensland.
  • There is no fee to apply for an exemption card and it remains valid as long as the person remains a registered teacher or police officer, unless cancelled or suspended earlier.
  • Exemption card applicants can commence regulated child-related work once they have lodged a completed application with the Commission.
