I am an adult residing or usually present in a home where child care is provided. Do I need a blue card?

Yes.

Under the Child Care Act 2002, an occupant is defined as an adult who:

An adult occupant can apply for a blue card by submitting a FDC - Occupant application form . This application is processed free of charge.

To complete the application form, an adult occupant must have their identification verified by a Justice of the Peace, Commisioner for Declarations, Lawyer or Police Officer.

If you are unsure whether you are an adult occupant and require a blue card you should contact the Family Day Care Scheme.
