I'm a driver with a limousine service who often drives young people to events such as formals. Do I need a blue card?
No.
As you are authorised by Queensland Transport to drive a public passenger vehicle, you do not need a blue card.
When considering whether a person is suitable for driver authorisation, Queensland Transport carry out a criminal history check which takes into account a range of factors, including the need to protect children and other vulnerable members of the community.
