Directors of a Non-State School governing body

I am a director of a Non-State school governing body and I need to renew my blue card. What do I do?

The Commission will send you a renewal invitation 16 weeks prior to the expiry of your blue card. This is to give you sufficient time to complete and lodge a renewal application.

To ensure that you get the reminder, it is important that you inform the Commission of any change in your address or other personal details.

You need a specific username and password to access the renewal forms on the Commission’s website at www.bluecard.qld.gov.au. The renewal invitation will provide you with this information. If you misplace your renewal invitation or do not receive one, you are able to obtain the renewal username and password or request a renewal form be mailed to you by telephoning the Blue Card Contact Centre on  07 3211 6999 or 1800 113 611 (Freecall) or by emailing a request to bluecard@ccypcg.qld.gov.au.

Note
If you lodge your renewal application form with the Commission at least 30 days prior to the expiry of your current card, you may continue as a director of a Non-State school governing body while your renewal application is being processed, provided your current has not been suspended or cancelled.
