Strategic Plan 2011-15

The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian 2011-15 Strategic Plan outlines how the Commission will achieve its mandate of promoting and protecting the rights, interests and wellbeing of children and young people in Queensland, particularly those who are at risk or most vulnerable.

The Commission’s priorities are built upon our key strategic objectives:

• The rights, interests, safety and wellbeing of all Queensland children and young people are upheld and enhanced
• Vulnerable children and young people in Queensland have appropriate support and early intervention services
• Effective child safety and youth justice systems to protect and support children and young people where legislative intervention is appropriate.
