Youth suicide is a key concern in Queensland. The Commission has found that on average, 16 children and young people suicide each year in Queensland – a rate which is almost twice the national average.
The Commission needs your help to prevent these tragic deaths.
We are seeking your feedback on the Commission’s Reducing Youth Suicide in Queensland (RYSQ) Discussion Paper.
Your knowledge or experiences engaging with children and young people who are at risk of suicide or who have suicided will help better target future efforts to prevent youth suicide in Queensland.
